any one hear of third eye nerve palsy. I am diabetic 35 plus years and now have severe eye and head pain that goes along with my double vision.. steroids of no use.. pain killers help pain but vision is horrible.. had mri, mra and everythins is normal..
I would recommend that you seek the care of an eyeMD specializing in neuro-ophthalmology immediately. There are some serious conditions which can cause double vision and headaches.

hy i have had painfull third nerve palsy for 2 years now due to an unruptured brain anurysm i had coiled.there has not been any improvement at all i had mri on 5 aug 09 and waiting to see consultant 14 september. it has been a very painfull 2 years i take gabepentan and pitzofen.
