tiny bit toothpaste fallen in my right eye yesterday(21/2/10)

MY EYES ARE NOT RED. BUT IT LOOKS DULL. AND THE INNERE EDGE OF THE EYE(PINK COULOUR PORTION) LOOKS IRRITATED AND MORE REDDISH THAN BEFORE. BUT TOOTHPASTE CONTAINS SORBITAL,CALCIUM CARBONATE,ACTIVE  SALT AND TINY AMOUNTS OF FLUORIDE, SODIUM CARBOXY METHYL AND OTHER COMMON THINGS.there is no prominent burning sensation now, but my right eye looks bothering,tense than my left eye especially when i lash lids over it. what can be done?should i consult a doctor or not?

it has some ARTIFICAIL PIGMENT BLUE for colouring of toothpast. i think it should hae caused the problem.what can be done for soothing eyes.
