toddler with both eyes rolling to television

I have a 2 1/2 year old that developed an eye roll over the last 2 weeks. First sign was during a severe illness with vomiting. We did not notice the issue again until this past weekend, and seems to be induced by watching cartoons or
television, less so for normal tv, but greater frequency with cartoons. We have removed these and the rolls have been
very limited to none at all. Pediatrician looked at the eyes and all seems to be ok, but referred us to a pediatric opthamologist to confirm any issues. We have an appointment with a pediatric opthamalogist in 1 week, but wondered if there
are any idea of what this may be? Both eyes roll up and to the right and seems to be involuntary. Happens within 5-10 seconds of focusing on the tv.
