treatment for eye problem

i am 22 years old and i have macular scar since birth which caused squint in my left eye. since 5 or 6 years, the squint has become more apparent and i consulted doctor. he says that there is no treatment for macular scar but cosmetically squint can be treated but there are chances of appearance of squint again after some time. is it true ? if yes, then wat percentage and how long after da squint operation???????

Yes that is absolutely true. Since the eyes have never worked together and do no have perfect macular fusion the eye with the scar is like a boat without a rudder. While surgery often makes the eye much straighter if often over the years drifts in or out.

Your surgeon would have to give you "odds" and statistics since it varies with the type and amount of strabismus.
