viral conjunctivitis

I WAS DIGANOISED WITH VIRAL CONJUNCTIVITIS WITH SWOLLEN CORNEAS.AND BLURED VISION.WHAT IS THE CAUSE AND HOW CAN IT BE TREATED I HAVE HAD THE SHINGLES IN THE PAST ABOUT 3 YRS AGO.

Typical viral conjuctivitis does not usually cause swollen corneas so this is a special case.  Please make sure you are seeing an ophthalmologist and follow instructions carefully.   Shingles might also be related if the previous case was around the eye.  You need to be seen in person for treatment of this complicated case.
