Dr. Oyakawa,
Appreciate your input, however do not concur with "floater"diagnosis as a probable root cause of problem. Nor do I feel that dysphotopsia is the likely cause, particularly since an identical lens (type, size), in other eye does not exhibit any similar symptoms. As originally stated, the problem in the right eye appears more like a hair sweeping across the field of vision. With controlled eye movement I can clear central vision, but any eye movement results in immediate return of symptom. Close vision is extremely troublesome, while vision at a distance is somehwat easier to tolerate. Visual acuity iitself is not a problem, however the problem is so annoying that it is oftentimes easier just to close or cover the right eye. Thanks again for your interest and input.
It could be a floater or it could be dysphotopsia from the edge of the IOL.
