my boy friend has had a vitrectomy 6 months ago his eye keeps having bleeds his doc has said about washin the eye out? has any1 had this done and how did it go
Dr. Hagan. My boyfriend (64 yo) is considering a vitrectomy; however, he has been told that there is a great likelihood of blindness, and his doctor is not recommending the vitrectomy. He can still read and drive, but things are getting worse. He won't get a second opinion because he thinks this doctor walks on water. Of course, blurred or cloudy vision is better than no vision. What are the risks of blindness secondary to vitrectomy?
Hi mariline, i have just read your post of the1 january and i am very intrested to know how you are getting on. Has your vision returned? my mum is going to have a vitrectomy for the same reason as you and he is very worried. Also did you have to have gas in your eye, as she has been told she will have to have this to see where the bleeding is coming from? i look forward to hearing about yor experience and how you are
