weird eye symptoms

I just want to know what to do with my eye. I have no money to go to the doctor, so home treatments would be better. I wear contacts and I can't see far-away. I also have an astigmatism. Every morning last week I woke to a really watery eye, pink and burning like crazy. The weird part is, as soon as I open my eye and put drops in it, the pinkness goes away. The burning usually goes away before noon and the watering is rare after noon. My eye feels better open than closed. It stings to blink. Two days ago, the problem cleared up. Today, it shows up again, worse than ever. I could hardly open my eye to even look at it because it hurt so bad. It also hurt to turn on the light but that has went away. It watered like crazy. I put drops in my eye and once again the pinkness goes away. The burning and watering is still there. What is wrong with my eye? Thanks.

Try not using your contacts for a few day and see if it helps.  You should really see a doctor.
