what causes eyelid shape to change?

I have recently noticed that the shape of my left eyelid has completely changed. No injuries or anything. Can it be a possible effect of eye or eyelid muscle strain. I have felt twitching around (especially the edges) of the eyelids. Can u mention any other possible causes?

But can any internal problems (such as strain trying to focus hard on a particular object) cause a change in the edges or shape of the upper or lower eyelids?
