what now? and why the vision distortion after the exam

Two concerns. I've been to two of the best surgeons here for cataract evaluation. One says I'm to much of a perfectionist for multifocal lenses and wants to implant mono in one eye and a toric in the other for astigmatism.
The other Dr. says nonsense, you can choose the multifocal lenses and I don't see enough astigmatism that would even give me the reading for a toric. The correction in my glasses for an astigmatism is .75 So now what do I do?
Also, it's been 5 days since my last exam and my eyes are not back to normal vision. He gave me two numbing drops to check for glaucoma and cornea measurement and one for dialation. My vision is improving but glare is a problem and focus isn't as good without my glasses as normal. With my glasses it seems one eye isn't in sync with the other.
The nurse says wait awhile and use Refresh eye drops, I have anxiety! Has anyone else experienced this.

The astigmatism of the cornea is was we correct, not what is in your glasses.  This is due the astigmatism in the cataract and the cornea.  So, after the cataract removal you will be left with the corneal astigmatism plus the astigmatism induced by surgery.

It is very unusual for your vision to blurred this long after the exam.  See if your pupil is still dilated.  You should see your doctor.

Addressing the astigmatism. One surgeon says I need a correction in one eye and wants to insert a toric lens. The other says he wouldn't put in a toric lens as his machines aren't registering a correction for an astigmatism. I don't know which Dr. is right. I'm relying on diagnostic interpretation etc. and they are saying opposite things. What do I do now? A third opinion?
