whats up with multifocal contacts

Do multifocal contacts have the same results as multifocal cataract lenses? Do they have vision at all distances?  I'm thinking of pairing a contact with a crystalens!  Any suggestions or advice on this pairing?

MF CTL are less expensive, less risky than MF IOL.   MF CTL is less successful than regular contacts.

Your pairing MF IOL AND MF CTL is not a high success combination.

I believe that multifocal contacts are similar to multifocal IOLs (like ReStor).  The Crystalens is an accommodating IOL and works differently.

Although your chances of success aren't high, you have little to lose by consulting a contact lens specialist and trying out the combination.
