white spots on cornea

my fourteen year old daughter has white spots on her cornea in the right eye.  She has had redness coming and going since December.  There is no swelling, no pain, no itching and no blurry vision.  Possible  but not sure diagnosis was Herpetic eye disease.  She only has one of the symptons, redness.  Any suggestions.

She needs to see an ophthalmologist.  Does she have any other health problems or wear contacts?  Not normal to have white spots on the cornea so do get it examined soon.
