whiteness in central vision.

whiteness in central vision.

Hello everyone,

I have two questions regarding my eyes that have untreated retinal holes and myopia (5.25 each).

I. Recently, I realized that when I rapidly move my eyes from left to right, a kind of whiteness or white stain momentarily appears in my central vision and then disappears. I feel it more strongly especially if I am looking towards a white background. Do you have any idea what this could be?

II. When I blink my right eye, a pin-hole sized little dot appears just at the center of my vision and rapidly fades away like a star but I can swear that it is not a floater. It sometimes seems to be white and sometimes black especially if I am looking towards a well lighted object or background. Any ideas please?

My latest slit-lamp examination was 3 weeks ago, there was nothing unusual and I am planning to go for another nex week.

Thank you in advance for your help.

1. NO
2. likely a vitreous floater that the 'pin hole" effect of blinking brings into focus
