yellow eye problem-I've been to the doctor

I have yellow spots/dots on my eyes (left one is worse than right).  I've had them for several years now.  I've been to my doctor twice now for blood tests to check my liver and whatever else he thought could be medically causing the problem to no avail.   He inturn told me to talk with my eye doctor, who determined that they were "fat" deposits?  So what my question is, how do I get rid of them?  Can they be surgically removed?  They are starting to cause discomfort (espically in my right eye) and headaches.   I would love them to be gone, any help or reccomendation would be appreciated.

You need to see an Eye MD ophthalmologist. Find one near you at www.aao.org  The most common cause is a pinguecula. Go to Google images and see what they look like. Its sun damage.
