yellow sclera

my eyes have a yellowish tint, during the day it is very noticeable. i had normal white eyes till i think 12 years of age. when i was a baby a had jaundice but i recovered from it. my sister, my mother, auntie, brother all have the same condition, and my sister went for a liver check and the results came out negative ie: no liver disorders.is there any hope that there is a cure because i don't think it is pinguecula because i dont have yellow bumps and im not always in the sun.

Sounds like its hereditary. Go in to see an Eye MD ophthalmologist for an evaluation and discussion

It could be environmental as well, since the symptom didn't appear until the OP was 12 years old.  We don't know when it appeared in the relatives, it may have been at the same time, and not at the same age.  Perhaps the OP can tell us?  Definitely go see a Doctor, although I think perhaps an internist might be a better place to start, since yellowing of the sclera is usually caused by issues elsewhere in the body.  Something liver related is still possible in the OP's case, even if the sister had a normal liver function test, although her test suggests that the OP's liver test could also be normal.
