Blood Test results

Ive been feeling very weak and tired, my heart rates high and im a little breathless. Also im getting pins and needles easily in my hands and feet, and feeling sleepy/woozy when standing. Sometimes im shakey (shaky) too and if i eat a little sugar and lay down i tend to return to normal.
Doctor gave me a blood test and said im a little anemic and it probably wouldnt produce these symptoms. I had a cosmetic operation in may and lost a lot of blood. i was previously taking iron pills but stopped and i dont eat meat.
Would these blood test reading be low enough to produce my symptoms?
Ive asked around and theres mixed opinions.

RBC5.17 <3.80-5.80>
MCV 69 <80-97>
MCH 21.2 <26-33.5>
MCHC 31 <31-35>
RDW 18.2 <10-15>
DIFF
MON 2.8 <4.0-10>      Mon 0.1 <0.3-0.8>
The rest of the readings are within normal range.

A low MCV can be indicative of iron deficiency anemia or inherited blood disorders like thalassemia.

A GI workup can be considered if iron deficiency is suspected (i.e. via blood iron tests).  This can include an upper and lower endoscopy.

If thalassemia is suspected, a referral to a hematologist can be considered to test for this blood disorder.

If the Hgb or Hct is markedly low, this can lead to symptoms.

These options can be discussed with your personal physician.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.
