Can I take Bactrim and Cipro together

If I take these two together, do they cancel each other out or is it okay?

You generally would not take these medications together... Cipro is sometimes used if Bactrim does not cover the necessary bacteria, so would be considered "stronger".  However, you should not be taking either unless they have been prescribed to you for a specific diagnosed problem, so please see your physician if you think you are in need of an antibiotic.

What condition are you taking them for, and have they been prescribed to you by a doctor for this condition?
