Fractured wrist????

I think I fractured my wrist. The pain is just insurmountable and I can't move it at all.  I can't afford to go to the doctor.
Because I can't go to the doctor, how bad are the long term effects of not getting this looked at?  and can anything else happen to my wrist if I don't get this fixed?

Long term effects can be debilitating arthritis, loss of flexibility/range of motion, chronic pain, loss of hand flexibility/strength.

Go see the county medical clinic, they usually give care on a sliding scale, that is to say, they charge you what you can afford based on your last year's income tax filing.  it's worth going to get xray'ed and see if you need the fracture set.  it's not worth risking the future use of your hand.

more possible problems: nerve damage, infection of the bone (very difficult to treat and sometimes deadly), potential need for amputation.

Go get it looked at!
