HCG and Progesterone Levels

I saw my dr at 6w1d for light brown spotting. The internal exam showed that my cervix was closed. I had my hcg levels tested and came back at 52,000 with a progesterone of 7.4. At 6w3d, my hcg level was 61,000. I was put on progesterone supplements at 6w4d. The spotting lightened up after my appt and after 1 day of taking progesterone has completely stopped. I have had one successful pregnancy and my last ended with a potential partial molar pregnancy. 1-Should I be concerned that the HCG levels are so high? 2-Are these considered slow rising HCG levels when they are this high? 3-Am I doomed for miscarriage or even a molar pregnancy with numbers like this? Thanks!

To answer your questions:
1) There can be variation in a "normal" HCG level.  A six-week range can be between 1,080 - 56,500 mIU/ml.  Typical HCG levels for a molar pregnancy can be between 4 to 100x normal.

2) Again, there can be variation in the rise and level of HCG levels in a normal pregnancy.

3) The combination of the rise and level of HCG with ultrasound testing can help with the diagnosis.  This can be discussed with your OB.

Here is my problem, I had a tubal(doc cut and burnt)in Jume of 2003. This was done 11months after my 3rd child was born. I went from Sept. 2004 to Aug. 2005 with out a menstrul cycle. My doc did all sorts of tests because she thought I had Uterin Cancer. Thank god I finally got my period and everything was good to go. Since Aug. 2005, my periods have been like clock work coming every 28-32 days. Until recently. I got my last period on Aug 24th, 2006, everything was normal about it. Now it's Oct 19th and still nothing. About 2 weeks ago I started to getting naseua, soar breasts and nipples, massive heartburn, very minor constipation, fatigue (if i am up at 6:00 am, i need a nap by 1 or so and I can sleep from like 11:00pm to noon the next day)and i haven't got a yeast infection since my very first pregnancy and now I have one. I have taken like 4 different brands of home pregnany tests in the past couple of weeks and all come back neg. I don't want to go to the doc and feel like a fool unless I have to. What should I do and is pregnancy possible?
