Hi there,
You need to see an MD.  It sounds like you may have a flu like illness, but I would need more history, and a physical exam/investigations to know for sure.  If you are 60 years old and have a history of high blood pressure with symptoms of chest pain and shortness of breath, that in itself warrants an urgent visit to a doctor.  You may just have a virus, but pneumonia, blood clots, heart attack etc can't be ruled out with the information I have.  It is probably a bronchitis with the cough/mucus, but you should really be on the safe side.  Please go to an urgent care/emergency department if you can't get into see your doctor urgently.  If your symptoms (especially chest pain/shortness of breath worsen, or are consistent, go to the ER to have an evaluation and possibly some testing.  You are right, that the other symptoms may be unrelated, but if you have the flu, you can have general fatigue/aches etc that go with it.

Good luck.  I hope you are feeling better.
