Lumps on upper inner arm

Age 71: I am now in chemo. for  (NHL) Non-Hogkins Lymphoma since July 19 th.  and (of course) already showed these lumps to my Oncologist, I would like more info. on what it could be.

My physician did not seem alarmed and said it was not related to the NHL and to put warm moist compresses on them as they hurt and to take Ibuprofen.

2 weeks ago one appeared about the size of a dime. Have pain with that one. Yes it's very movable.  The other 2 are tiny and seem softer that the dime one more like a tiny cooked peas.

Thus far I have had 3 treatments plus rutoxin and nylasta.

I am doing great, (no nausea and little discomfort) but this has me quite concerned that maybe the lymphoma has spread or it is a reaction from CHOP. (Abbreviation for all the drugs that are given intravenously)

If it is at all possible to give me an answer or info. I would be very pleased.

Tough to say what they are without examination, but with your history I would want to ensure they are not spread of the cancer or lymph nodes.  With chemotherapy, the risk for infection is greater, and the lumps may be lymph nodes reacting to this.  Certainly your oncologist would be the right person to see if this is the case.  

You could image the area for further definition of the lesions, or a biopsy can be considered for further evaluation.  

If there is still concern, you can always inquire about second oncology opinion.  

Followup with your personal physician is essential.
