MY HCG LEVELS TOO HIGH POST OVULATION

MY HCG LEVELS TOO HIGH POST OVULATION

If there are any super savvy people out there, I really appreciate the help. I did my HCG yday (May 10th) and it was 12,678. 7 days ago it was 660 (May 3rd). It is essentially doubling every 1.6/1.7 days. My LMP was 31st of March so by LMP I am was 5 weeks 5 days when I took it. But I ovulated on April 17th and so was 25dpo when I took the test. My HCG is VERY MUCH at the high end of the range regardless according to LMP but off the charts according to days post ovulation or conception. Which is the correct way to measure, gestation or LMP?. My ovulation date is right if my kit was right but could my ovulation kit be wrong. Or is something  that my hcg levels are rising. I also had very mild brown spotting on day 9 and day 14 (when I wiped) and day 15 post ovulation (around my period). No other signs, sore breasts but no nausea and no cramping just some slight twinges. The bleeding has stopped now after bed rest. Could it be a molar pregnancy with no nausea and no real cramping? I am too early for a scan they say.

PlEASE HELP!!! I REALLY WANT THIS BABY...

I am not an OB, so my insight into this question is limited.

There can be a significant range for the HCG doubling time in normal pregnancy.  Here is a sample chart:

HCG  Level  Doubling Time
< 1200       48-72 hours
1200 to 6000 72-96 hours
> 6000       >96 hours

If there is evidence of a molar pregnancy, the HCG levels can be 4 to 100 times the upper limit of normal.  This, combined with an ultrasound, would be a reasonable workup if this is suspected.

I cannot predict whether this is a molar pregnancy or not without examination.

I would discuss this option with your personal physician or with your OB.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.
