Question about hair dyes

Question about hair dyes

Hi,  I am a 30 year old healthy female. I have concern about hair dyes. About two weeks ago I colored my hair at home and it was a mess. As a result, I used about 10 different store bought hair coloring kits some light some dark to finally fix the mistake I made. I normally do not color my hair and then I read about the possible risk of cancer with hair dyes. Do you think I am at increased risk to get cancer (my worry was a brain tumor) from so much hair dye in a short amount of time. I do not have previous years of exposure just the occasional hair color. Thanks

Although possible, I am not aware of a connection between hair dye and brain cancer.

Even if there was a connection, it is unlikely a single event of hair dye overuse will lead to a significantly higher risk of brain cancer.

Tip for next time, if you make a mistake and your hair turns out badly, bite the bullet and just go to a professional haircolorist for a correction.
You will have less exposure to dyes and it will probably be cheaper and look better then messing around with tons of products to try to fix it yourself.
