Had high ast and alt first test four weeks ago...recent test show reduction  AST to 62 from 120, ALT to 94 from 140. new test Alkaltins Phospatese at 141. For months was taking Advill 4 times a day and also had 2 epidural shots (cortinsone and lydicane) aqnd recently Darvoset 4-5 times a day (no longer, now on diclofense 1 tablet a day till surgery)+, all other areas are well within range (Hepatic Function Panle, Iron, actin,(muscle, antobody and actin antobody)Ferritin 160, Alpha 1 182, Ana screen-negative, Ferritin 160. Didn't want to wait till Tuesday to hear from the doctor so I acquire test results from the lab. Haven't hip replacement and want to give my own blood so am anxious to know where I am....

The medications you are taking can lead to elevated liver enzymes.  The fact that they are decreasing is reassuring.  

One test to consider would be to image the liver.  This can be done via an ultrasound.  Gallbladder or anatomical liver abnormalities can be found, leading to the elevation in liver enzymes.

Adjusting your medication regimen can also be considered to see if this improves the liver function tests.

Thought that you would furnish some definitions of what these tests were and what they showed..Alas...a very general answer.
