I am a 37 year old women.  I am somewhat over weight( 25lbs) I am currently on Paroxetine 40mg & Synthroid .10mg.  Most of my life I ahave been a "sleeper" .  I can sleep 20 out of 24 hours & still be tired.  The real problem is that I can't wake up!  My children ages 2@ 4yrs old  & 1 @10 years old can jump on me, yell in my ear, etc & I still won't wake up.  

I also have some health issues that the doctor doesn't seem to feel  that it is a problem.  I get bouts of diahreea from time to time...... this will last from 4 days to 30 days then go away for months but then reappear again.

I had symptoms of MS (which turned out neg) but I was put on paxil & the symptoms slowly went away.  Every now & then I do get the symptoms back & then they go away.

Can you help me?  Please.  I know I am sick & feel no one understands.

There are many reasons for increased fatigue - including kidney, liver, thyroid disease, anemia, and depression to name just a few.  

You may want to inquire about whether the Paxil you are taking is giving you fatigue as a side effect.  A TSH test can be done to see if the hypothyroidism is undertreated.  

Blood tests for liver and kidney disease, as well as a blood count to evaluate for anemia should be considered.  

I would discuss these tests with your personal physician.

I am 38 and have experienced most of what you mention.  I was finally diagnosed with Crohn's disease and fibromyalgia.  I did not get better until I cut out all sugar (I do not have any in my house), pop, fast food, ......  I drink water, take lots of supplements (whole food), walk for exercise, and pray.  I do feel sooooo much better.  My numbness and tingling are gone.  Every once in a while, I will sense a fleeting tingling somewhere and then it is gone.  I was also checked for MS and thankfully it was neg.  I still messup and occasionally have something sweet ( organic brownie) and then I can feel dizzy or just worse.  I have definitley seen a direct correlation with what I put into my body and my health.  I enjoyed the book by Jordan Rubin The Maker's Diet and Patient Heal Thyself.  I also read www.mercola.com for info.  I take probiotics for my colon.  I hope this helps.  I has taken a whole life change but it is so worth it.  Wish you the best.

you may have sleep apnea and dont know it....do you snore at night?  ask your md about this possibility...you need a sleep study to confirm...good luck
