unknown please help

I will attempt to make this short and simple. I am a 34 yr old female. I was adopted at birth thus have no medical history. I had a child at age 31. Fairly normal pregnancy with slight pre eclampsia towards end. Water broke-never dialated-started induction medication-baby's heartbeat decreased upon contractions-12 hrs later c-section. Healthy baby boy. First night after delivery severe intense headache. Hospital gave me demarol-fine. Went home everything fine. Third week home w/new baby kept getting severe headaches. Within a week or two symptoms elevated to paralysis on left side-blurred vision-cognitive thinking blurred-extremely high blood pressure. Ob/Gyn presribed blood pressure medication. Over the course of about week continued ob/gyn changed dosage several times never helped. Made numerous trips to emergency room never anything wrong. Finally had paralysis, blurred vision, speech problem etc, went to emergency room. Dr on staff finally did CAT scan. Found 4 places of "blood pooling" blood vessels leaking on brain. Was admitted. Stayed for two weeks ran all kinds of tests, blood work etc. never really came up with a clear specific diagnosis. Was sent home by neurologist with high doses of steroids and cytoxan. Continued on medication for several weeks-went to new neurologist for second opinion. Was diagnosed as vaso spasms-steriod treatment not necessary. Finally got off all drugs and things have been fairly normal however, I was never given any specific explanation or diagnosis and/or prognosis. Ever since have suffered from night sweats, hot flashes, low/no sex drive.  Have been prescribed anti-depressants and have changed birth control pills a few times-no relief. Have just recently seen new family practiontioner and done more blood work. Everything is always normal every time. This time have elevated sedementation rate. Now waiting on results of lupus panel. Generally speaking I feel fine- except for these "menopausal" type symptoms that are driving me crazy. Night sweats, Hot flashes, Insomnia, low/no sex drive, weight gain. Can you please help point me in the right direction. Because I have no medical history I am very concerned that there may be something very serious underlying these symptoms that might be overlooked. As I said I have a small 3 year old child and am very worried. Any assistance you can give would certainly be appreciated. This is not a very thorough history but don't really know how indepth to go.

I have a concern here, perhaps it should seem obvious but why are you having "blood pooling" from different vessels on the brain? To me this makes me think of the possibility of an aneurysm. In addition your symptoms are concerning as well and may very well be due to the abnormalities seen on the CT scan. Certainly many of your symptoms sound like symptoms related to migraine headache or possibly menopause (however, at age 34 menopause is extremely unlikely). My gut feeling here is that you have some type of brain abnormality (i.e. Aneurysm) which is causing you the symptoms that you are describing.
Clearly, you need to see a "NEUROSURGEON" to have this investigated and treated ASAP.
There is a test called an "MRA" that the neurosurgeon will likely order to determine if, in fact there is an abnormality of any of the vessels of the brain.
