worried

I am a 40 yo female, in good health. Had a complete physical in Dec and everything was normal except HCT 34.6.
For the past week, I have felt like I am on a boat, or just "foggy". This week, it became ear pain, and rt.face pressure/pain. On and off chills, with temp between 98.6-99.3.
I am exhausted...so tired, like I have never felt this way before. I am able to function/take care of my kids, clean, cook, food shop etc...but just feel like I could lay down and rest at any moment.It isn't getting any worse, but not much better either.
MD( this am) says I have a virus, gave me sudafed for what he saw was post nasal drip...no ear infection, no sinus infection.
I have a friend who just died of leukemia and now I am freaked out that I have it,too...she was VERY tired as well.
I have no other symptoms: no brusing, no bleeding,no swollen glands, not pale, no weight loss, no loss of appetite.
Can you tell me what you think and most importantly if you think it is Leukemia?
Should I have a blood test?

I cannot make a diagnosis over the internet.  

If leukemia is a concern, a CBC can be done.  If there are suspicious findings, a peripheral smear or bone marrow biopsy can be considered for a more definitive evaluation.  

Regarding the fatigue, in addition to the CBC, I would also obtain a metabolic panel, thyroid test, liver function tests, urinalysis, mononucleosis test and B-12 level - disease here can all cause fatigue and tiredness.  

These options can be discussed with your personal physician.
