Whiteness on tongue and TMJ

by shak1958, Oct 09, 2008 02:42PM
Of late I notice that my tongue seems whiter - is this normal?  Also, I had an extraction done about a year ago, and the area feels weird like when someone is suffering from TMJ.  Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

This discussion is related to white stuff on tongue.

My tongue has been white too for several months - I've been to two dentists and two doctors and had numerous blood tests and still no diagnosis.  I believe after my own internet research that it, along with the pain under my tongue and my jaw pain, that it is my TMJ.  Just glad its not oral thrush!
