17 y/o with long lating chest pains

by Sayuri_kitty, Feb 15, 2009 11:39PM
I am 17 and since end of November/begining od December of 2008 i've had a sharp pain in my chest, left side. It used to only last about 30 sec. to a minute but this last month it's become much worse.
Then the other day it stopped hurting. the next day it hurt twice as bad and even traveled into my right side of my chest then back to the left.
I'm wondering if it's something that'll just go away soon or something or if it's something i should go to the doctors' for. Help please?

Two questions:

1 - Are you eating healthy food or are you kind of a fast-food type?

2 - Any special stress factor, feeling of anxiety? Is the pain more of a sharp defined pain or more of a general pressure on your chest type of thing?

Because I can either think of digestive problems or we could be talking anxiety attacks. Either way, why don't you talk to your doctor... they're there for a reason you know. ;+)
