3 YEAR OLD BOY-REPEATED ILLNESS

by BooBoo4jc, Nov 23, 2008 09:27AM
My 3 year old grand son has been plagued by continued sinus infectons, ear infectons, rashes, fevers that spike, come and go, congestion, vomiting, and coughing off and on for several weeks since August. He first started daycare around the same time. He has been on several rounds of antibiotics, been to the doctor several times and even to the emergency room and to urgent care a couple of times. I have a daughter who finally requested his pediatrician refer him to an allergist/immunologist and now she has changed her mind after a visit to the emergency room yesterday after he spiked a fever and got a rash. She is exhausted, a full-time grad school student, and involved  a contentious divorce at this time and suffers several and repeated sinus infections herself. Around August, they moved into a new apartment and she thinks maybe the apartment air source is the problem. We just don't know why this little normally healthy child is now constantly sick with most of the same ailments. His father suffers from allergies as well. Please help?!!!!
