A Sebaceous Cysts Story

by Jay200, May 20, 2008 01:20PM
I have had Sebaceous Cysts on the back of my left ear before. I had surgery  like  5 days ago to remove it after it got pretty big. While this Cysts was still small i decided to pop it but it only made it worst so like i said i had to get it removed. Anyways i think it might of gotten inffected like that so dont EVER try that! When i went to get it removed they put something to numb it but i was still awake while they did this little surgery. They give you a choice whether to be asleep or awake while they do your small surgery. I wouldnt recommend been awake because sometimes they dont numb everything and the worst part is that if you have a cyst by your year you can hear everything while they do your surgery. You can hear them cutting your skin and it gives you a weird feeling because it sounds crunchy when their cuttin your skin off.EWWWW! I'm not trying to scare you but its the truth. After the surgery i had a few headaches so thet gave me some pain kills. I havent been able to go to sleep these few days and by the third day my stitches tore because of the way i was trying to sleep. After the surgery you dont want to move alot because you dont want your stitches to open up. The doctor left a small opening open because he said that it will heal better by itself if he didnt stitch it.Anyways all my stitches tore and my wound opened up.Now theres a a Big and Deep hole there where the cyst used to be at.I called the doctor but he said he cant do anything about it because the skin is very sensitive and i just had a surgery a few days ago. He said that the hole will close by itself but i dont believe that because its a pretty big hole and im afraid its going its going to take a really long while to fully close itself and it might not close properly. I think i can actually see the bone inside my ear. Today is my 5ft day since i had that surgery and my hole that i have now is growing some white goewww stuff in it. IT LOOKS REALLY REALLY NASTY!!!!! To be honest i think it probably got infected again because it does not look natural or normal. Tomorrow i'm supposed to go to the doctor to see whats happening to me or if im going to be alright.TOO many things going trough my mind. I hope he tells me one of these two things: We will do another surgery and you'll be as good as new or: what you are going through is totally normal and your hole will close soon  ,there is nothing to worry about. YEESSsssss PLEASE SAY THAT!!!!!! I guess I'll find out tomorrow when i go talk to him. I hope its not something serious!! Even though i'm telling you guys these i just want to let you guys know that whatever your problems are i hope everything works fine for yall. GOTTA GO NOW! liquids are coming out of my hole.......
