Armpit pain a part of fibrocystic breast disease?

by txpenguin, Oct 06, 2009 12:46PM
Hi there,

Yesterday I went to my doctor because of several small, painful, pebble-like lumps in my left breast.  He told me that I had fibrocystic breasts and that none of the lumps felt suspicious.  However, I forgot to ask him about the pain in my armpit (same side as the painful breast).  I also feel a few small pebble-like lumps there as well.  They are mobile, tender, and feel like enlarged lymph nodes.  Is this a part of have fibrocystic breasts, or is this something different?

Thank you!
