Bleeding during after resumption of intercourse post pregnancy

by tzeksman, Oct 27, 2008 11:51PM
My question is regarding my wife, we had our first child in January and didnt resume sexual intercourse until about a week ago. I had worked in another country but we are now together and thats why its been 9 months since our first post childbirth intercourse, anyways everytime we have tried to have intercourse there has been bleeding, sometimes light and sometimes heavier than others.  Is this common? Has anyone else experienced this, family members we asked have said not in their case.  We will not resume intercourse until we figgure out what is going on, but probably cant get into the doctor for a few days so i dont want to ask a paid question since we will see a doctor this week but if anyone has any experience or what have you that you can share i would appreciate it.
