Breast Pain

by sxyblond49, Feb 17, 2008 01:27PM
I have found a tender, painful-when-pressed area, on the lower leftside/outside of my left breast. Each time I press this small area it is instant sharp pain. Can anyone give me insight as to what kind of physician or who I should see about taking care of this? Best Regards, K

I'm a family physician and they'd be perfectly able to palpate a tender breast area.  I'd go soon.  Surgeons look at these as well, but are more excited if there's a lump to biopsy.

yes, surgeons say "a chance to cut is a chance to cure."

although, that's not necessarily true.

but, please post results here.

thanks!
