We are worried and don't know what to make of it all. The doctor pretty much said he didn't know what could be causing the pain (he is hurting on his left side/back and constant abdominal pain/diarrhea/indigestion/heartburn etc.)
The doctor is awful and I am trying to convince him to go somewhere out of town (this is a small town with only one doctor).
Can you take a guess at what might be the underlying cause of all these things that came up on the report?
We would REALLY appreciate any feedback... he has felt bad for a looong time now, and finally got the cat scan. He had BAD kidney stones in the past and initially thought that he might have another stone or kidney damage.
He REALLY needs to see another doctor. You should load him up and take him out of town. He might have a tumor. I live in a very rural area also, and I have never even heard of only one doctor in town! That's crazy! If that's the case though, this doctor probably doesn't know as much as other doctors would know. He probably isn't used to having to diagnose very serious illnesses. I'm surprised your boyfriend even got a CT scan.
