It could be a number of things. I would not get all "worked up" about it being cancer.

Well, sorry, I asked about the birth control pills, I overlooked the part you said you and your boyfriend are trying to get pregnant. It sounds suspicious of a condition called cervical erosion which is common with young women; a benign condition. I would get to an ob/gyn pronto especially since you are trying to conceive.
