I have had some earEar barotrauma Ear discharge Ear emergencies Ear examination Ear tube insertion Ear tube insertion - seriespressurePressure ulcer in both earsEar barotrauma Ear discharge Ear emergencies Ear examination Ear tube insertion Ear tube insertion - series for the last several years. I noticed the pressurePressure ulcer at it's most intense when I went on a flight from San Francisco to Pittsburgh,PA in May of 2002. I almost screamed! It really hurt when we took off! It was a piercing type of pressurePressure ulcer that eventually went away as we were at cruising altitude, but there was still some pressurePressure ulcer there. I also have gone to several concerts where it was pretty loud, and yes, bad girl, no ear protection! I have also cleaned my ears using a solution and q-tips. Not very often just sometimes. I still have a slight bit of pressure with both my ears now. It's annoying and sometimes I can feel my heart beat in the left or right ear. I have a very healthy heart, good blood pressure and stay physically fit. I'm 42 and within my weight range. I am getting ready for a flight to Ohio in 5 months. I am worried it's gonna kill my ears! I do once in a great while get sinus infections, but hardly any colds. Any suggestions?
