Enlarged Lymph Node

by jamburd1, Dec 03, 2008 07:08PM
I am a 32 y/o female. I have had an enlarged lymph node for about 6mos now.  I feel fine, the node is moveable and small-I'd say 1-1.5 cm.  No pain.  I work in a radiology department and have had an ultrasound of the area and it is definatley a lymph node.  Had a CBC done and everything is in normal limits.  Anything to worry about? Will it ever go away?

I guess I should have said that my node is directly under my ear by the jawbone.  I think I left that out.  I think it is the superficial cervical node.

I have hives and also have a couple of enlarged nodes I have noticed that they have been bigger then they go away and then reappear, I dont bother with them I think once the Hives go they will also I was told it is the way of the body fighting infection.
