It could be due to the menopause. I would try a bio-identical progesterone cream, this is progesterone that is exactly the same as what your body manufactures. It is very safeSafe driving for teens Safe sex , and helps with all kinds of symptoms. I read in one of my books by Dr Lee called What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Menopause, that sometimes womens necks do get larger due to too much estrogen in the system (estrogen dominance) and not enough progesterone to balance it out.
I recommend this book highly, also the other one he wrote called What Your Doctor May Not Tell You about Menopause. Both are a wealth of info and can be purchased on-line through Borders or Amazon.
