For over a year,i've had a tiny swollenSwollen glands gland behind my left earEar barotrauma Ear discharge Ear emergencies Ear examination Ear tube insertion Ear tube insertion - series.i went to a doctor recently for what is probably an iron deficiency, and while i'll was there i asked her about the gland.i'm not extremely concerned about it,but decided to ask to be safeSafe driving for teens Safe sex .she said that i probably had an infection at one time, and the gland just never went down after the infection away.she used a term for phenomenonRaynaud's phenomenon Raynaud’s phenomenon, but i don't remember it.it may have started with hyperHyper-sal.she gave me an antibiotic to take for ten days.the problem is,i'm finally starting to feel better (have been anemic for months, and after taking iron,am finally getting stronger, less drowsy,etc.).i am not ,however, strong yet.is this really the best time for me to be taking an antibiotic for something that i've had for a long time and that the doctor didn't seem concerned about?wouldn't it be better to wait until i'm stronger? and with all the side effects,is it even worth taking the antibiotics period?in other words, which is riskier-the doxycyclineDoxycycline Doxycycline hyclate Doxycycline monohydrate,or the tiny swollen gland? this gland is so tiny, another doctor couldn't even find it-of course, that doctor didn't even believe people have glands behind their ears,so maybe he shouldn't even be allowed to practice medicine.
i took two doses, and i eneded up weak and sleepy.that may be a coincindence, but i really hate to take a step backwards whaen health is finally improving.
