HCG levels?

Hello! I am new to this site and have a question. I found out I was pregnant 8/05/08 and had my first Beta Hcg levels checked 8/11/08 and they came back today at 1,476. They said that I am about 5 wks along which to my calculation is right. I have had 3 miscarriages in the past due to low levels. Do things look good for as far along as I am? I go for my doctor visit 8/14/08 and they are going to test again and then some. I really dont feel they explain things well enought to me. Can you help easy my wondering... THanks
