High Ferritin Level

Good Day,
My recent blood work came back with a ferritin level of 350ug/L. Would this be considered high? The doctor suggested I exercise more watch what I eat and come back 3-4 weeks for another blood test. Is this a normal course of action. Finally If I'm able to should I donate some blood to bring the level down? Thanks!!
