I have had a cyst like bump on my head for a long time. I recently, went to the doctor he referred me to a surgeon to have it removed and tested for cancer. I also, have a large one now in the crown of my head, What can you tell me about this?

I have lump like cyst on my head. I went to the doctor, he said normally he would remove them but the size and shape were a concern to him. He has me going now to a surgeon to have it removed and tested for cancer. I since, have notice another one on the crown of my head but it is much larger. What is all of this? Can you help with any knowledge of this nature?

I see alot of them in my profession. They are usually harmless and more of a nusience. Hopefully that is the case with you.
