Liver disorder

Sir i was suffering from flu for last some days and was taking nimusulide and ciprofoxin during my blood test the reports show SGOT level of 2900 and SGPT level of 3300  serum alkaline phosphate 350ul and Bilurubin 2.9 what does it means am i suffering from some medicinal after effect

Hi Siddarth

Most any prescription drug will cause the liver to work harder as it is trying to clean your system from toxins, so, this might be the reason the Liver enzyme tests came back elevated.

To get a really clear cut answer, I would ask your PCP or his nurse. But, I feel it is just the liver doing its job.
