Low WBC and Hish Sed Count yr old

by concernparents, Jan 25, 2009 09:52AM
I am a concerned parent my daughter recently had a high fever and a bad cold I treated her with Mortin/Dimetapp, the fever left but the next morning she woke me up at 5am screaming...with leg pain. I thought that maybe it was growing pains or the down side of the flu. It lasted a few days (3) then she started crying from leg and arms pain. That wasn't normal to me so I rushed her to the emergency room they ran some test and said that her WBC was too low and her SEd count was to high...they gave her some medicine and she said the pain lessened...They said it was very important that I take her to her primary doctor tommorrow...What is going on? She was also given a shot for infection and some antibiotics...
