MRI results

by gmsb, Oct 30, 2008 01:31PM
I had an MRI due to lightheadedness and occasional visual disturbances. I was in the hospital for effects of iron deficiency anemia.  Results state: Nonspecific foci of T2 signal hyperintensity within the periventricular and subcortical white matter. Differential considerations would includemicrovascular ischemic change or possibly demyelination and clinical correlation is advised. No evidence of recent infarct.  MRA of circulation- intracranial and carotid artery is good.  What does this mean?  Thank you so much.
