Medrol dosepak and Cellulitis

by solnigor, May 16, 2008 10:02AM
My wife(Age 60) started a Medrol dosepak a week ago for treatment of a protruding spinal disc in her lumbar region and finished the dosepak yesterday. She began to develop swelling, warmth, reddness and pain at the left elbow which is spreading up the arm towards her hand. The skin is intact on her elbow and forearm with no indication of an insect bite or injury to the skin. Could the methyprednisolone be causing this reaction and should she seek prompt medical attention? Thanks.
