Pain Under Left Rib Cage

I get this sharp pain under my left rib cage, feels like a babys foot in my rib cage.  The problem is that I am not prgnant.  That's what it feels like.  It doesn't do that all the time.  Could it be my colon or something to that matter?  I do have constapation problems.  I drink Miralax for that.  I thought maybe when it get caught it hurts right there.  Please help?

is it still hurting?  if not, it could be a strained rib muscle from coughing.  If it's not gone by now, it's worth going to get checked out.
