Postherpetic Neuralgia

My story is about my mother she had an illness call Shingles and then after that had past, she now is gets bad headache Every day, and then after working with many M.D in Neurology they tell her that the Shingles may have damage her nerve So now they have a name for the Bad headache, called Postherpetic Neuralgia. Well so far all they have to offer is medication That is not working and is not good for the body.
I have talk with a Doctor about trigeminal neuralgia and he said that they now have surgeon go in and fix the nerve with out Cutting anything, I guess it is a laser. I have not ask the Doctor if a surgeon can help my mother’s Post Herpetic Neuralgia, But I will, I just like to do my home work be for I ask a Doctor anything.
