My mother is 59 yrs. old. She has been slightly overweight for the past 20 years. She eats a high fat diet and has no regularRegular insulin exercise. In the past three months she has lost 47 pounds. It is quite scary to see how ill she looks. My 4 yr. old can see it. My mother has made no changes to her diet or exercise. Her doctor does not seemed concerned. He said she needed to lose some weight anyway. My father and I are both concerned. What do you think?
if there are more then one doctor in this practice then I would ask to see soemone else or else go back to her doctor and say you want to start to rule thing out do sonme blood work.
